hiii hiii

I’m Khang, or usually Kyle to friends and anyone who cannot pronounce the weird voiceless velar fricative /x/ sound in Vietnamese.

I do RnD in AI, mostly NLP. I’m extremely into the planning and reasoning capabilities of LLMs, building world models, and explaining their intelligence. Outside of those, I’m drawn to games, music, books, sports, etc. – yeah, like every other man. nerdge

between bonfires bonfire is where I can write without squeezing every thought into a social feed or a product dashboard. As I’ve explained in the first post, I created this website (actually re-created – this was once my portfolio) to give me a getaway from constant knowlegede consumption, to allow me to appreciate the boredom that I might have, and to think on my own.

so, although the website is 100% vibe coded, catjam I made a promise to myself that everything I write here is my own words (I do use AI to typo-check tho). They might (and very likely) be extremely subjective, usually incoherent, often badly written, and sometimes even completely wrong. Please feel free to contact me to discuss anything of your interest.

I expect a mix of:

  • AI and software notes, probably my summarize after a good read or experiment (tags: tech)
  • random research thoughts (tags: research)
  • rants or hot takes on music, fiction, games, sports (tags: rng)
  • essays that are mostly me trying to understand my own thinking (tags: personal)

if you want the simplest possible version of the site, start on the home page or subscribe through the rss feed.

pro tip: you can change the theme of the website by clicking the button on the top right corner, or change many aspects of the blog display by clicking the gear icon in each post. I really want everyone to have a great reading experience, so I tried my best to make it as customizable as possible.

and as a final word, I hope your visiting is memorable. flushedcathappie
